About Dr. Ye Wang
I am an Assistant Professor at Department of Applied Physics, Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) (Eindhoven, the Netherlands). I obtained my B.S of Materials Science and Engineering from Xiamen University (China) in 2015, Master and PhD Degree from Prof. Paolo Samorì's Group the Institute of Supramolecular Science and Engineering (I.S.I.S.) (Strasbourg, France) in 2021, following working as Postdoctoral Research Associate at Prof. Manish Chhowalla's Group, Department of Materials Science and Metallurgy, University of Cambridge (Cambridge, UK) (2022-2025) and Prof. Marcelo Lozada Hidalgo's Group at National Graphene Institute, University of Manchester (Manchester, UK) (2025-2026).

My research is focused on interfacial engineering of low-dimensional materials for energy efficient applications and quantum phenomenon. I have received multiple awards including the CNRS C’Nano PhD Thesis Prize, Engineering Future Fellowship, Faraday Institute Research Fellowship. I have published more than 20 papers on high-impact journals such as Nature, Advanced Materials, ACS Nano, JACS and presented in more than 10 international conferences. I have been peer reviewer in ACS Nano, Nano Letters, Journal of Materials Chemistry C, npj 2D Materials and Applications, eLight.
